Keeping it gobble gobble

So the laziness kicked right in and the blogs have not been forthcoming as intended. Nevertheless, today I've got an update or two on the haps here in the southern hemisphere, including a whole slew of multimedia.

Thanksgiving was celebrated here a couple weeks back on a typical, balmy, late-night Porteño Thursday in November. Hot n humid, with the oven turned on and countless hours of cooking already in the can. The short and skinny - I prepared the bird, glazed carrots, potatoes al horno, mashed sweet potatoes, two kinds of stuffing - traditional and sausage cornbread, and two pies - traditional pumpkin and a pumpkin cheesecake. Carmen prepped the appetizers - a cold soup, tasty salad and tzatsiki.

Six Argentines experienced their first Dia de Accion de Gracias and Carmen experienced her first home made, traditional version. All enjoyed, ate way too much, and perhaps hate the U.S. just a little bit less now.
